Earth Day Service – April 19th

April 22 is Earth Day, and we’re celebrating early at BECC!

We believe that God calls all of us to care for creation in spiritual and practical ways.  Come join us for special speaker Rev Kristine O’Brien, a minister/farmer who is also the director of the Crieff Hills Retreat Centre in Puslinch as she shares some of her learnings about the land.

Come dressed comfortably because right after the service, we’ll go out together to garden and do a cleanup of the property for the use of our community (and our resident Canada Geese who are starting a family).  Let’s worship and care for our earth together!

Burlington Welsh Male Chorus – Saturday, 25th April, 7pm

The BECC concert series proudly presents a sensational singing extravaganza!

The Burlington Welsh Male Chorus are joined by Juno Award nominee Loralee McGuirl to perform a dazzling selection of musical numbers including spirituals, Welsh folk songs, opera choruses and hymns.

Tickets are $25 and are available from EventBrite or the church office.

April Mission – Food for Life

Please consider donating to Food for Life this month.

Food for Life report that rising costs are increasing the strain on household budgets and making it hard for many to make ends meet. There is also a downturn in donations in the spring.

Donations of non-perishable food items can be left at the church and we will ensure that these are safely delivered. Financial donations are also much appreciated; simply mark your envelope or funds transfer ‘food for life’.

Every donation, small or large, makes a difference.
