The minister leads spring bible studies for adults. In 2016, the subject was the Odyssey of St Paul, using film recorded on location in Israel, Syria, Asia Minor, Greece and Italy. It covered the life of the Apostle Paul from his birth in Tarsus to his schooling in Jerusalem and conversion on the road to Damascus, his arrest in Jerusalem, imprisonment, and the shipwreck voyage to Rome. A running commentary by Dr. Paul Maier made this a vivid learning experience....

Burlington East WMS is part of a national organization of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, with groups from B.C. to Nova Scotia. It encourages congregations to be involved in local and world mission through prayer, study, service and fellowship. The Burlington East group consists of about a dozen dedicated women who meet on the second Tuesday of each month for a short worship service followed by a study session. A social group of about 25 who enjoy getting together for lunch monthly from September through June. We are a great support for each other and the congregation as we pull together to cater funerals and other functions within the church. Each monthly meeting consists of a fabulous sandwich lunch and a short devotional followed by a business meeting and a few laughs along the way. The major annual fundraising event is a Christmas bazaar, bake sale and tea room in November. This is well supported by the congregation and the community......

Youth from the four Presbyterian churches in Burlington get together once a month on Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Some previous events have included a bowling and pizza night, video games and a board games night.
